Commodore David Goddard speaks to YCN about this year's drone show.

Lighting up the sky responsibly

Fireworks, while spectacular, can have significant adverse effects on lake environments. The debris and chemicals from fireworks often end up in the water, polluting the habitat of aquatic life and disrupting the natural balance of the ecosystem. Moreover, the loud noises can disturb wildlife and pets, and the remains can pose risks to birds and small mammals. In contrast, drone shows offer an eco-friendly alternative that captivates audiences without harming the environment or wildlife. Drone displays produce no physical debris or harmful chemicals, and the noise level is considerably lower, making them a responsible choice for celebrations near sensitive areas like lakes. Join us as we light up the sky responsibly with our awe-inspiring drone show!
