An Active Tennis Community
LSYC offers a robust and active tennis community with one full-time pro and five green clay courts. There are tennis options for all levels of play from beginner to advanced. Drill sessions and Round Robins, offered every week, include women's only, men's only and mixed options. All player levels are welcome and encouraged. Joining a tennis activity can be a great way to meet our friendly tennis community!
Tournaments
One day tournaments are held throughout the summer for those who are interested in a little friendly competition. These tournaments might be run as a traditional bracket play or as round robins. You are guaranteed to play lots of tennis and the winners get a little recognition on our tennis "hall of fame" plaques.
Reservations
Court time can be reserved in advance by any member. Guests are welcome to play but must be accompanied by a member who is responsible for the guest fee.

Barry Schoonmaker
Never played tennis before? Or maybe a bit rusty? Our long-time pro, Barry Schoonmaker, has many years of experience teaching tennis and is the Head Coach of Colby-Sawyer College's men's and women's tennis programs. Barry is an excellent enthusiastic coach who welcomes the opportunity to help you with your game.
