Eligibility: Ages 18 and UNDER (cannot reach the age of nineteen by date of regatta).
This is a youth regatta. Emphasis will be on learning and growing as sailors.
Fees: $50.00 per person includes lunch and dinner (pizza and salad) Tuesday evening, breakfast, lunch and awards on Wednesday.
$40.00 per boat charter fee, with a $100 deposit check to be returned at the close of the regatta.
$15.00 per non-sailor to eat with the sailors
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
First Race: Approximately 11:45 am.
Last Race: No race will start after 5:30 pm.
Dinner: Provided by LSYC pizza and a movie/games plus swimming!
First Race: 9:30 am.
No race will start after 1:30 pm or at the race committee’s discretion
Cookout and Awards at 2:00 pm provided by LSYC
Boat Washing: Lake Sunapee regulations require all off-lake boats to be inspected before launching.
LSYC’s designated area for power washing boats upon arrival will be by the tennis courts.
PLEASE DO NOT WASH BOATS ON THE ASPHALT OF THE BOAT PARKING LOT TO AVOID RUN-OFF ENTERING THE LAKE.
A LSYC representative will help with boat washing and then will inspect boats before they can be launched.
Any boats launched without inspection are subject to disqualification. Please clean trash, etc. out of your boats before arrival to save time.
Sailing Instructions: Sailing Instructions (SI) will be posted on the LSYC website one week before the regatta.

Housing: We hope to offer housing. It will be on a first-come, first served basis and will depend on space and numbers.

If your club has accepted housing, please contact the host family in advance; race chairs will provide contact information. With that said, this is a big vacation time when lake families host their own visiting relatives, so space can be limited. Thunder/Lightning Plans: In case of conditions that would delay racing, coaches, please be prepared to share your favorite team-building game or sailing lesson with the group.
Water Bottles: Please bring your own water bottle.
Participants: If your club has a sailor without a partner, please let us know. We can put coaches in touch with each other.
Other: Visitors interested in ordering from the club snack bar, please see the club manager
Shoes, shirts and shorts/cover-up must be worn in the clubhouse; wet bathing suits are wonderful outside
Must be 21 or older to enter the bar area
No smoking on property
No alcohol off the terrace
No pets allowed
Please observe a moment of silence while the flag is lowered at sunset
